Voice search is an emerging topic of interest in the SEO world. It's not hard to understand why. According to Google, around 20% of all mobile searches are voice searches. Given that mobile search accounts for a little over half of all searches, that means something like 10% of all searches are voice searches. Given that voice search only began to emerge in 2011, that's an enormous jump in a very short amount of time.
It's also worth noting the sorts of numbers we're talking about here (Google handles 3.5b searches per day). 10% of all such is huge.
